To Model the Way by raising breast cancer awareness.

Our Vision and our Mission guide us in selecting the annual target for our fundraising efforts. Through consultation and recommendations from medical experts, patients and survivors and committee members, Pink in the City strives to provide equipment and services that support and enhance the diagnosis, treatment and continued wellness of breast cancer patients.

Survivorism : this year’s objective

The Oxford dictionary defines survivorism as a policy of trying to ensure survival especially in the face of a catastrophic event. For breast cancer survivors this translates into re-establishing a balanced and healthy lifestyle in order to support well being during and following the treatments required to overcome breast cancer. To be truly successful all aspects of the patient’s wellbeing must be addressed; the physical, psychological and social.
